I'm Steve Allen. I LOVE Painting. I started painting apartments in 1991. After painting a couple hundred apartments and lots of houses in 2000, I started an
Interior Design business with My Mom, Ann, in Victoria, Texas called Decorative Details, etc. Specializing in faux finishing and interior design, murals and custom painting projects were in high demand. I came back to Austin in 2005, worked for Shane Kenyan Painting and then started Steve Allen Painting in 2016. It all started with an oversized table I painted
Marilyn Monroe on. I couldn't get enough of the
pop art scene, following artists like Warhol, Lichtenstein, Shapiro and Fedro, to name a few. I soon began painting on canvas and murals.
A brief stint in Las Vegas last year and the world's makeover, thanks to Covid 19, has led to Steve Allen Painting back in Austin.
